CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

Mark is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional with 34 years of experience. He graduated from West Chester University holding a business degree with a finance concentration. He is a second-generation advisor following in the footsteps of his father. They worked as a team in suburban Philadelphia before Mark moved on to gain additional experience on Wall Street. Mark worked for a trading firm in NYC, broadening his knowledge of investment strategies and the world financial markets.

In June 1997, Mark and his wife Kathy moved to Ocean City to put down roots and raise their family. Mark established Ocean City Financial Group that summer. Mark and Kathy have a son, Todd, a finance major at Florida Gulf Coast University and a daughter, Summer, who is a soccer player at Monmouth University studying graphic design.

Mark enjoys volunteering with the local Little League, the Chamber of Commerce, the Ocean City Lifesaving Station, playing racquetball and pickleball, bike riding and an occasional round of golf. Most importantly, he likes spending summer weekends on the beach with family. One additional hobby for Mark is his 1968 Mustang convertible, which was his high school car.

Chris Kent

FINANCIAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Chris graduated from University of Richmond’s business school in 1987 and has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. He got his start in community banking and served locally as the Controller and then Internal Auditor at Ocean City Home Bank.

Chris joined the Ocean City Financial Group team as a Paraplanner in the summer of 2020. He quickly transitioned into the Wealth Operations Manager role, where he assists in the preparation of detailed financial plans for our clients and coordinates all the investment research for the office.

Chris was raised on the Main Line of Philadelphia and spent his summers at the Jersey Shore, surfing, sailing, and fishing. He now lives with his wife and two children in Estell Manor, where he serves as an elder at a local Christian Church. He still enjoys the beach life, but he also spends time writing and working on projects at home.

Chris has a reserved demeanor and sets high standards for himself and others. He is focused, analytical, and detail-oriented, making him a valuable addition to our team.

Kristina Krautblatt

CLIENT RELATIONS

Kristina has over 25 years of experience working in Sales and Hospitality management, where she honed her skills in customer relations, business administration, and digital marketing.

Kristina joined the Ocean City Financial Group team in March 2021. She is responsible for client management and overall business support. Kristina has a true passion for helping people. Her experience and commitment to delivering the highest level of service to our clients is an invaluable asset to the team.

Kristina is originally from San Diego, CA and settled in Brigantine 12 years ago. She has lived all over the country and has traveled the world extensively, including climbing Africa’s tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, in 2016. In her off-time she enjoys yoga, bike riding, cooking, and spending time with her significant other, Frank – as well as Jude, the cat.
